Connecting and charging your vehicle

You can charge the Peugeot e208 at public charging stations and wall outlets.

Public charging stations require payment, with various payment and activation methods depending on the provider. The most common charging providers are Petrol with their “OneCharge” App and “Gremo na elektriko”. We recommend the eFrend app for finding and activating charging stations in Slovenia.

The eFrend App

Download the “eFrend” app on your iOS or Android device and follow the registration instructions. Enter your payment card details to fully utilize the charging network provided by eFrend and its mobility partners.

Charging methods and finding charging stations

There are several types of charging stations that differ in charging power and consequently the time it takes to fully charge the battery.

You can find charging stations using the the eFrend charging app.

How to start charging?

In the boot of the vehicle, there is a cable with an adapter for a home outlet and a Type 2 cable for slower AC charging stations. Some charging stations, such as all rapid-charging stations, have their own charging cable as part of the charging unit.

Open the charge port

The charging port is located by the left taillight of the vehicle. Open it manually by gently pressing on the cover.

Insert the cable

For charging at AC charging stations and home outlets, take the appropriate cable from the trunk and first connect it to the vehicle, and then to the charging station. Do not connect cables to each other.

At rapid charging stations, the cable is part of the charging unit, so connect it only to the vehicle.

Initiate charging

Activate charging stations with the QR code displayed on the charging station itself and/or with the charging provider’s app.

How to stop charging?

Charging stops automatically when the battery is full. You can manually interrupt the process at any time by unlocking the vehicle with the key-fob and unplugging the cable from the vehicle.

Disconnect the cable from the vehicle and manually close the charging flap.

Do not forget ...

Once the vehicle is charged, disconnect it from the charging station and, if necessary, repark it to another location.

If you do not intend to charge the vehicle, do not park at charging stations.

Opening and closing the trunk/boot

The trunk can be opened with a button on the rear door of the vehicle, located above the license plate.
